FAQs:

Insulating Foam

Proline Covers provide a choice of insluating foam density. But what does it mean and why should you care? Well the answer is quite simply that you get to choose the level of insulation you need balanced against the price you want to pay. Higher density foam has greater insulating properties and greater strength.

Cheaper covers will almost always be low density foam and if you don't see the foam density stated, you can almost guarantee that it is cheap and inferior foam. But it doesn't simply stop there - Proline Covers are made using moisture resistant, fire retardant, virgin foam containing no impurities; in other words it is not formed, reground or scraps (features of inferior quality covers). Our foam has twice the water run off rate of our competitors, giving Proline Covers longer life.

R Value

This value represents the insulating abilities of the cover. The higher the number the better it will hold in heat.

Looking After Your Hot Tub Cover Hot Tub and Spa Cover Maintenance and Use Instructions

As an owner of a Proline Cover, you have purchased a high quality product; handle it with care and it will last many years. Your cover will get damaged if you handle it roughly, drag it or lean it against sharp objects. The foam cores will bend or snap if you put anything heavy on the cover, or if you lean or stand on it (keep people and animals off).

These simple instructions are provided to help you look after your cover so that it lasts you for many years.

COVER CARE

  • Don't lift the cover without unfastening all locking straps.
  • Handles are for opening and closing the cover, not for removing it from the spa or carrying the cover.
  • Keep the cover clean. Wash with mild soap and rinse with clean water. Clean both top and underside of the cover.
  • Apply a vinyl conditioner twice a year. Contact your dealer for details and advice.
  • We recommend that you use a cover lifter. It makes opening and closing the cover very easy and it extends the life of your cover. Ask your dealer for information.

Proline Covers Insulating Hot Tub & Spa Cover Two-Year Warranty

WARRANTY PERIOD: 2 YEARS

Proline Covers Warranty is simple and straightforward :

  • If its our fault - we fix it at our expense
  • If it's your fault - we fix it at your expense

We warrant our insulating covers to the original purchaser, to be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal usage, for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery to the original customer. This limited warranty does not cover damages caused by animals, fire, vandalism, excessive chemicals, improper installation and strain, abuse or abrasion, acts of God or use for purposes other than that for which the cover was designed. Ordinary fading, wear & tear, delamination and seam splitting due to improper handling are not considered to be a defect in workmanship or material.  Foam cores and vinyl outers are covered for 2 years with all Proline Covers. Any expressed or implied warranty is limited in duration to 2 years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser/consumer. The seller shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages.

Foam breakage and tearing of the vinyl is caused by improper use or handling of the cover and we can't provide warranty for this. Handles are for opening and closing the cover, not for removing it from the spa or carrying the cover - torn handles are outside of the warranty unless it's due to faulty materials or workmanship. Take care handling your cover; scuffing and chaffing of the vinyl or holes caused by leaning or storing against sharp objects is not our fault and is not covered by the warranty. We recommend that you use a cover lifter with your Proline Cover - ask your dealer for information.

Shipping costs are covered under warranty if you are in mainland UK.
